We at TV Fiends figure our loyal readers probably like looking at hot guys just as much as we do. So we feed your addiction with a feature we like to call … Dude, You Are So Hot.™
Each week we find a hot guy on TV — reality TV, scripted TV, an in-season athlete, whatever — and write him a “Dude, you’re so hot” note (similar to the one you all originally saw in our reply to the AfterElton.com Hot 100 — the TV Fiends Hot 17) explaining to him and the world why we think he’s so hot.
This week we turn to one of the guys who puts the “show” in Showtime.
As always, women and gay men: enjoy. Straight men: these pics will help get you to the gym, and show you what a real man can look like if he cares about his appearance. Lesbians: you can just get swept up in our joy — because there is a lot of it.
Dear Hunter Parrish, of Showtime’s Weeds: Dude, you are so hot.™ We at TV Fiends started watching Weeds because we love us some Mary-Louise Parker. She was great as Amy on West Wing, so we were eager for her next project. When we heard about Weeds it sounded like just the type of quirky, interesting project that would highlight and stretch Parker’s strengths. And that it did.
Once we started watching, Silas Botwin, the son of Parker’s character Nancy Botwin, immediately caught our eyes. But only because we thought you (the actor portraying Silas) had potential to grow into something special. We at TV Fiends like ogling handsome males, but we reserve that only for grown men — which you decidedly were not when Weeds first aired.
Now as Weeds prepares to enter its 8th season, it has happened: We officially pronounce you a super-hot grown man we can’t get enough of seeing. Then we found out you were born in Richmond, Virginia, which is not far from One TV Fiends Plaza. We really like good looking men, but we save our most steadfast support for hottie hot-ites from the commonwealth. That fact alone is enough to make you TV Fiends Approved™.
We have loved watching Silas grow into a strong, confident man, which has paralleled your growth as an actor. You are not just a sight to be seen, your are an actor worth watching. We appreciate, Hunter, that you are dedicated to your craft.
But we’ll admit one of the things we appreciate most is seeing you shirtless, Hunter Parrish. Why? Because, dude, you are so hot.™
