After a weekend full of barbecues, good times with friends and fireworks we settled in to watch a new episode of one of our all time favorite reality shows, Jerseylicious.
We knew from a preview of this week’s episode of Jerseylicious that the episode would feature a reunion of one of our all time favorite reality show couple, Frankie and Gigi.
Going into the episode we hoped that Frankie and Gigi would come back together and realize what every Jerseylicious fan has come to realize, that they are meant to be.
We started to get our hopes up when Gigi decided to meet up with Frankie to return the promise ring he gave her in an earlier episode.
GIgi did not have any intention of reuniting with Frankie when she decided to meet with him face to face, in fact she said out right that she planned to return the ring because she wanted closure and needed to move past their relationship. Nevertheless, we held out hope that Gigi would see Frankie, come to realize he is the one for her and work to repair their relationship.
Frankie and Gigi Reunion
When Frankie and Gigi reunited during the Jerseylicious episode we continued to hold out hope that the two would reconcile. We hoped that one of our favorite reality tv show couples would realize that they belong together and reunite. We were hoping for another moment like the one Frankie and Gigi had at St. Ann’s Italian festival where Frankie told Gigi “I need you back… I’ll cherish you” and Gigi accepted him back into her life as well as her heart.

Did Frankie and Gigi get back together?
Unfortunately, the reunion did not go as we hoped. Gigi stuck to her guns. She told Frankie and the Jerseylicious audience that even though she will “always love” Frankie she felt it was time for her to move on.
We thought Frankie’s heartbreaking pleas to her to not return the promise ring and necklace and really consider whether she was committed to staying apart would sway Gigi, but Gigi was resolved to move on.
Gigi left Frankie and Jerseylicious fans shocked. We kept wishing she would change her mind and run back to Frankie’s arms. But Gigi did not waiver. The episode closed with Frankie and Gigi going their separate ways.

After the episode we wanted to know if Frankie and Gigi are still broken up.
After searching the internet for answers we finally stumbled upon Gigi’s twitter page, where she posted the following message from a fan “Frankie N Gigi r meant to be together forever, it’s true love.” That message gives us hope that Frankie and Gigi have reunited or will be reuniting soon even though on Jerseylicious the pair is broken up and moving on.
Will Frankie and Gigi get back together? Will the two realize they are meant for one another? Will they finally give Jerseylicious fans what they want and hope for? We hope so but only time will tell.
