Degrassi: Adam and Fiona relationship heats up,Claire and Eli tackle hoarding, Dave tases Wes
This week’s episode of Degrassi focused on Adam and Fiona’s budding relationship, Claire and Eli’s relationship after Eli rejected Claire’s sleepover request and Dave’s quest impress his new “cool” friends. In case you missed the episode here is a recap of what happened this week on Degrassi.
Fiona and Adam: The Love Triangle continues
As we predicted last week a love triangle began to form between Adam, Fiona and Drew during this week’s episode. By the end of the episode the love triangle was no more,
Here is what happened with the Fiona and Adam (and Drew) storyline:
- On the advice of Adam, Fiona gives Drew another shot but Adam get’s jealous. Fiona talks to Adam about Drew and Adam gets angry at Fiona. Fiona gets frustrated and says she wants nothing to do with Adam or Drew.
- Adam and Drew talk about Fiona and Adam tells Drew he is interested in Fiona. Adam tells Drew that a relationship with Fiona may workout because Fiona does not know he is transgender and she does not want anything physical. Drew tells Adam he is not biologically a man and it would not work out. Adam gets angry and storms out on Drew.
- Drew finds Fiona at The Dot and tries to get into her good graces. Drew realizes that Fiona has a thing for Adam. Drew also realizes that Fiona does not know that Adam is transgender and does not tell her. Drew encourages Fiona to go out with Adam.
- Drew tells Adam that Fiona is crushing on him and to go for it since she doesn’t want anything physical. He tells Adam that Fiona does not need to know the truth.
- Claire was still angry that Eli rejected her sexual advances. Eli told Claire that he did not want her to betray her principles. Claire accuses Eli of rejecting her because he had feelings for his ex-girlfriend who was killed.
- Claire demanded that Eli give back a watch she gave him that belong to her father. Eli did not give it back. Claire and Adam go to Eli’s house to get the watch.
- Claire and Adam discovered a padlock on Eli’s door. Adam tells Claire to use Eli’s dead ex-girlfriend’s death date as the combination and it works. Claire and Adam discover Eli has mounds of trash and other items in his room.
- Claire returns to school and tells Eli that she knows the reason he did not want her in his room was because it was so messy. Claire decided to clean up Eli’s locker and proudly shows it off to him to show to him she is good with messes. Eli freaks out.
- Eli and his mother have a chat where Eli’s mother tells him to let go of the things. Eli tells his mom that he is worried that if he gets rid of the things he will forget about his ex-girlfriend. Eli’s mom tells him that he will never forget her.
- Eli runs to Claire and tells her he keeps things because he is afraid if he throws them out someone will die. Claire correctly predicts he is a hoarder. Eli and Claire vow to work on the hoarding issue and other issues together and promise to never give up on one another.
- Eli and Claire work together to get rid of things in his room. Claire lets Eli keep her father’s watch.
Last week we predicted that Dave would do something stupid to prove to his new friends that he was cool even though he was a cop’s kid. Dave’s stupid move was stealing a taser gun out of his dad’s car and then using the taser gun on Wes to impress his new friends.
Dave and Wes made up and all was right in the world of Degrassi.
This week’s episode of Degrassi was weak, in comparison to the other episodes this season. We enjoyed seeing Adam and Fiona’s relationship develop but that was pretty much the most interesting part of the episode. Of course, we will still tune in next week, we are already in too deep to leave but we will not be staying in to watch it live.
