Thursday: Play, Pass and Trash

After a quick review of our TV listings for tonight we came up with our list of shows to watch, what to pass on and the trash reality television for Thursday night.

Play:
Big Bang Theory: Last week Sheldon’s friends turned against him when Amy, played by Mayim Bialik (aka Blossom), dropped in. The episode was one of the best of this season. We tune in tonight to see if Big Bang can top it.

Bones:  We almost died with laughter when we realized that Bones thought that the Jersey Shore was a show documenting the culture of people in Jersey. This week we tune in to see David Alan Greer guest star.
Community: The show was shockingly deep last week when they covered Pierce’s mother’s death. It was also hilarious. The show also sucked us in with another Betty White appearance last week. We’ll tune in this week.
30 Rock: Kenneth returned to his role as page, Queen Latifah guest starred and Tracy created a show to help with the network’s diversity issues called “Let’s Stay Together,” with a talking dog. BRILLIANT! This week the show goes live. We can’t wait to see what happens.

If you missed the ending where 30 Rock showed a scene from Tracy’s show ”Let’s Stay Together,” watch below:

Grey’s Anatomy: Hands down one of the best shows on television right now, Grey’s continued to impress us last week with the Christina and Derek plot line. This week we would not miss this show for anything.

The Office: To reiterate what we said in a earlier post, this is Steve’s Carell’s last season, we wouldn’t miss it. Plus last week we were practically dying during Michael’s Law and Order audition (watch it here).
Pass:
My Generation: We thought the show My Generation was cancelled? Why are there new episodes? Kill this show please.
The Vampire Diaries: Too bad this show conflicts with 30 Rock and Bones. We like werewolves.
$#*! My Dad Says: Shatner is still not selling the father role and unfortunately, that part is essential to the show’s success. Pass
Fringe: The duel world plot is outstanding and the show keeps rising above. Unfortunately, it conflicts with Grey’s and The Office. We will be watching this episode of Fringe online at Hulu.

Outsourced: Still not funny… Pass
Nikita: We would love to catch up with this show, the butt kicking makes it worth the time, but it’s conflicted out for TiVo purposes. We will catch up with the show online.
The Mentalist:  We enjoyed learning more about Jane’s past last week when he investigated his brother-in-law for murder. However, our trash reality shows create conflicts with The Mentalist this week and we will have to pass.

The Apprentice & Private Practice: Both shows are conflicted out by our amazing trash options
Trash:

Jersey Shore: What happens when The Situation becomes a situation? We don’t know but we will find out this week on Jersey Shore. We will also tune in to see Vinny who we still have a little crush on.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Thank god the boring Real Housewives of DC are gone? Will their replacements and new addition
to the franchise live up to the Real Housewives name? We will find out tonight on the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
