Tuesday: Play, Pass and Trash
After looking at the television schedule for tonight we’ve come up with our list of shows we are going to be watching, shows we will be passing on and the trash television we cannot live without tonight:
Play
No Ordinary Family: The show shocked us last week by killing Detective Cho. This week we will tune in to see if Detective Cho is actually dead and also to see the family manage their new powers.
Glee: We look forward to Glee every week. After one of the most brilliant episodes in Glee history last week we looked forward to the series even more. We cannot wait to see what happens when Sam, played by Chord Overstreet (who is rumored to be dating Rumer Willis in real life for those of you into gossip), tries to make a move on Quinn. Will Finn intervene? Will Rachel see Finn’s intervention and sing a tune to express her hatred? We hope so, her rendition of “Hope it Gives You Hell” is still one of our favorite Glee moments. See Rachel’s moment here:
See a sneak peak of tonight’s episode which features a duet between Quinn and Sam here:
Biggest Loser (Hulu.com): We cannot watch it live due to conflicts but we will definitely catch up to The Biggest Loser on Hulu.com this week. Last week Tina and Elizabeth wanted to go home after the first elimination. Tina wanted to just finish her weight loss journey at home with her daughter who did not make the show. Elizabeth wanted to go home to recently eliminated contestant Alli so she could help her in her weight loss goals. Bob commented that the first elimination was making people act crazy. Instead of coddling the group Bob worked them out until the collapsed and/or vomited. That is why we love this show. We loved all the drama and the trainers without mercy. Must watch… just not a must record.
Raising Hope: The comedy makes us laugh until it hurts every week. Watch a video clip of our favorite moment from last week’s episode featuring Maw Maw, played by Cloris Leachman, below and tune in to the show this week:
The Good Wife: Last week Kalinda revealed that Will and new partner Derrick have a connection that they hid from Diane. Diane thought that she was the only one who knew Derrick and expected that Will would have her back in the partnership. Will betrayed Diane last week when he voted with Derrick and against Diane. Diane, with Kalinda’s help, discovered the truth about Will’s relationship with Derrick. This week we are curious to find out if Will actually played Diane and if he and Derrick schemed to gain control of the law firm. We are also watching to see how Will and Alicia continue to react to one another now that they have moved on with other people and are no longer pursuing a relationship with one another.
Detroit 1-8-7: The cop drama never disappoints. The non-stop gritty police drama gets our blood boiling and our hearts racing. We will tune in this week.
Pass:
NCIS and NCIS:LA: Detroit 1-8-7 is enough investigative/murder mystery action for us. We will pass on the series and the LA spin off.
Running Wilde: We didn’t watch last week to see if the show had lived up to it’s potential. We will probably catch up with episodes online… or probably not. We just were not feeling the season premiere and don’t want to waste any more of our time on the series.
One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected: We watched enough teenage dramas this weekend and we have Teen Mom tonight. This week the two shows are planning a crossover event where Haley shows up and Mia from One Tree Hill show up for a radio event on Life Unexpected. There will probably be a lot of singing and we can’t stand when actors try to use their shows to promote their sining careers. Pass
Parenthood: It’s just a space issue Parenthood. Nothing personal, it’s not you, it’s our TiVo.
Trash:
Teen Mom: The season finale of season 2, aka the craziest season of Teen Mom ever is tonight. We will devote our entire trash television night to this show, we are sure the series will not disappoint.
