Premise: Brady Bunch: True Hollywood Story
Episode two of “Brothers and Sisters” and we are already getting into the deep end. This week we learned that Kitty has cancer.
Sally Fields once again proved why she won an Emmy in this role playing a compelling Nora who is heartbroken by Kitty’s new health issue. See Nora’s breakdown here:
We also saw Robert and Kitty’s relationship get back on track after she revealed to him that she has cancer. Robert had to deal with political scandal fallout this week when news of the heart attack he hid from the public was released. He yelled at Kitty for being apathetic about his public meltdown. We were about to give up on Robert but then he recovered nicely in the scene below reminding us why we loved his character in the first place:
Robert, why did we doubt you? We no longer suspect that you will be starring in the divorced dad’s club with Michael Lohan and Jon Gosselin and are sure that you are back on the right track.
Ryan, the secret love child of William Walker, is up to no good and is plotting something. This week he gave secret financial records from the family business to a former associate of William Walker. We don’t know what he is up to but it is no good.
All and all a good “Brothers and Sisters” episode. The episode was a bit slow but we feel that slow and steady wins the “Brothers and Sisters” race. Next week promises to be good, the previews tell us that Kitty will reveal her condition to the family and we will see them rally around in the traditional Walker fashion.
